and if you come around again,
then I will take the chain from off the door
Monday my parents, my fully grown brothers, and my fully grown self crammed into a tiny car and drove to Pittsburgh to visit my Grandma. It was not the most comfortable or pleasant drive, but the visit was very nice. I couldn't help but notice the extreme similarities between my mom and Grandma. It was uncanny. I had never really noticed until now. Their posture, mannerisms, everything. It made me kind of glad that I'll end up being like my Mary Lou someday.
Tuesday we drove back early, making it just in time for a doctor's appointment (darn). Later I went over to Kelly's house to dye her hair. A 25 minute procedure took us over an hour. But it was fun and her hair looks pretty darn good (thanks to me). We went to the McD christmas concert to support Kylie, had a late night dinner at Applebees, and then baked cookies at Gabby's until 2 in the morning.
All in all, a successful break thus far.
Tonight I'm hosting the friend family christmas party. This is a first. Bring it onnn.
I'm just really excited to see everyone :]
I miss my loves.
