Books & Burritos

Yesterday I spent the afternoon with my dearest KP.
We planned a tour of Harrisburg, which included a first time visit to the Midtown Scholar and a delicious dinner at Neato Burrito

We also meant to hit up the downtown branch of Dauphin County Library and the State Library, but we {forgot} & ended up running out of daylight.

But, let me just say:
HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THE MIDTOWN SCHOLAR??
It's so beautiful!
Books everywhere!
Holy freaking crap.

I want to live there.
I have never been more serious about anything in my entire life.

I bought 2 books:
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows {hardback}   $7.95
- Mr. Sammler's Planet {by Saul Bellow, my favs.}   $7.95

Pretty much the greatest thing ever.

also.... now i know why Saul is one of your favorite names.
is the book good? what's it about?

p.s.- lauren and i have discussed this, but midtown is pretty much exactly what we see your bookstore/cafe/gallery looking like if you opened one.
